We are residents and businesses of Chippendale. We formed our group and this website in January 2025 after receiving Sydney City Counil’s notice of the development proposal for a 1064 beds backpacker project in the existing building owned by Telstra at 184 - 200 Broadway, Chippendale NSW 2008.

The meeting was convened by two residents and business owners Bjorn Godwin and Michael Mobbs.
